Competition rules

Rules are written per competition.

Every competition sets its own price, limits, closing time and free entry routes, so its rules are generated from that competition’s own settings rather than stated once here. Open a competition and follow its rules link.

What is the same for every competition

  1. The entrant list is sealed when sales close. Nothing can be added afterwards.
  2. The winning number comes from the blockchain, and does not exist until the draw transaction runs.
  3. The draw happens once. A second attempt is rejected by the contract.
  4. A free entry weighs exactly what a paid ticket weighs. That is enforced by the contract, not by the promoter.
  5. The draw does not need the organiser. After the draw time, anyone can trigger it.
